So after 24 hours of labor, 2 epidurals (b/c of course I can never have anything go perfectly EVER), and an emergency C-Section, my precious little bit was born on September 16,2009 at 10:29pm. Absolutely NOTHING can prepare you for how much your life changes after your baby is born. I never felt such an overwhelming love and constant worry and concern to make sure they are doing ok. I love her so much it is scary. She was born weighing in at 8lbs 1oz and measuring 19" long and looking just like her mama, and a little like her daddy too. She has an amazing caramel skin tone with beautiful violet eyes (yes they really look violet most of the time) and tons of jet black hair. I just recently took her to the doctors before I went back to work and at 6 weeks she is quite a butterball, she is up to 13lbs and close to 23 inches, hopefully she gets a lil of her daddy's height.
Anyway, I am so ecstatic to finally have her here, the most recent thing she has learned is to smile and laugh. She smiles everytime i kiss her cheek and it just makes my heart melt. She also laughs at funny noises, kisses, and tickles. She is amazing.
