In honor of Fashion Week...

In honor of fashion week, and I so wish i was there, I will be working furiously on my new spring line.  I promise to have it up and running by Friday!  But in the meantime I will be blogging about the greatest of the greats in NEW YORK.

RIP Alexander McQueen- Mourning an Icon

Alexander McQueen one of my long-time icons was reportedly found yesterday, after he hung himself in his London townhome.  He was quite a brilliant designer and I loved all of his work.  He was ABSOLUTELY one of the MOST BRILLANT designers of this time.  I want to take a few minutes out of the day to celebrate his amazing talent and skill... here are some of my McQueen faves:

Why did you do this to yourself again?  I was just saying the other day that you had been so good lately, I hadn't seen any crazy stories in the press and you seemed to be back on track (hopefully following my advice from a year or two ago when I wrote you needed some good girl friends CLICK HERE to see past advice) but it seems your girlfriends or stylist should again BE FIRED!!! I know that red carpet events aren't always the easiet to dress for, but maybe for the next one we will go back to last years, sparkly short tube sort of look (shiny, pretty, sassy) instead of granny gone wild!

Lets get rid of this and never speak of it again

and go back to the Brit I know and love!

Congrats are in order

Congratulations to my beautiful older sister Dahli and her new hubby Randy!!!  They got married secretly in their new home yesterday with only their mothers present!  Those sneaky lovebirds!  I am so happy for her and I wish them a lifetime of happiness. Can't wait to see the pictures of the event, she wore a light blue dress (which I am sure totally brought out her eyes)!  I know Grandma Bette would be proud!
