So, I have been searching and searching the racks and the internet for the absolutely perfect homecoming outfit for my lil bit, and much to my dismay nothing seems to really be jumping out at me... you know how when you find that one outfit, that you just HAVE TO HAVE, no matter WHAT, that is what I have been searching hi and lo for for the past few months. None have measured up to my standards, i hope this is not a sign of things to come in the future as well :(
I have been obsessed with all things fashion and clothes for as long as I can remember, I was the five year old who was actually excited to get dresses or any kind of clothes for her birthday or Christmas, and I hope to pass this along to my lil nugget. I remember vividly the outfit that I picked for my lil sis' homecoming, a light blue dress with yards of frills and lace... it looked just like a little doll's dress and I LOVED IT!!! Had I left it up to my mom, she would've been dressed in what I had the unfortunate displeasure of wearing home... a purple sweatsuit?! Really mom?! She claims this was all the rage back in good old 1984, somehow I feel she is mistaken... anyway, I don't wish this humilation on my lil bit so I have decided to make her the absolute CUTEST homecoming outfit EVER...
DRUM ROLL PLEASE...
Lil Keira will be debuting herself in a super cute leopard print onesie and a hot pink and white ballerina skirt (designed and sewn by yours truly) and the cutest lil socks w/ ballerina shoes printed on them (from Nordies compliments of her auntie B) and to tie the outfit all together she will be sportin a hot pink headband complete with a bow.

ReplyDeleteDidn't know you had to be black to use the phrases lil bit and lil nugget? pretty sure lots of white people use these phrases... Chelsea Handler calls her assistant her lil nugget on a daily basis.. she is most certainly white..
