So one year later, I have found my "sole" mate and am expecting a lil diva in September....

So, almost a year later, and it seems like on my last post, I knew where my life was heading. The previous post was inspired by my husband!!! Who would've thought that last year when we reunited (on this exact day July 3rd) we would already be married and bringing a new little bundle of joy into this world?! Well obviously Chris was and still is just like my favorite pair of wedges, which I haven't been able to wear all summer due to swollen feet. Oh the sacrifices I am making :). Anyway, this has definitely been a whirl wind year, and I have been neglecting my stalkers for an entire year!! Well to catch you up a bit, Chris and I got back together around the fourth last year, then I left my glamourous KC life and headed to the sticks to move in with my one and only. We had a super cute bungalow in Manhattan that I absolutely adored. I had my own personal dressing room and sewing room, chris had his "office." And life was more than perfect! Chris proposed in December, and wanted to get married at the courthouse immediately, but I just kept thinking how much I really wanted that "white dress." Then, in January we found out I was prego, so we decided not to hold off on the wedding planning anymore. In Febuary I got offered the marketing manager position at my old office (where I used to be a lowly assistant) and me and Chris made another crazy move back to the city! YES! YES! YES! It's hard to believe how much you miss 'a city' not a little cowtown. We made it back to KC in March, we found out the baby was a little girl... and definitely a diva, in April. We had a small wedding ceremony in May which was a dream come true. Then at the end of May we held our wedding reception!!! Which was fabulous minus I couldn't enjoy all the wonderful sangria, champagne, and beer:( but C definitely enjoyed it for the both of us. Now we are just getting prepared for the little one in September. I can't wait, and don't you worry, I have picked out as much leopard and pink as possible! Just can't wait to meet her...

More next time...

xoxoxo
